Feathered
Beauty
Jean
did a wonderful job piecing all of these stack and whack wild animal
blocks. We added some contours to the quilt to make the piecing
stand out with Feather Meandering.

Echo's
project
Echo
worked on this quilt through some tough times and ended up with a
beauty. Baroque Hearts fills the space but there are rows of
quails and geckos as little surprises. This is a very large
quilt with a variety of fabric and spots of interest. It is
backed with flannel so it will be warm and toasty.

A
Set
Bonnie
made two "Trips around the World" quilts that are exactly
the same. We used Windy Meandering to highlite the lovely fabric
and piecing. The Green union thread matched beautifully.

Larry's
Sampler
Larry
is a piecing perfectionist and local quilting teacher.
"Blustery Day" pantograph added motion and interest to this
sampler quilt. The variety of tones in Sand Dune thread added a
little mystery.

The
Cat's Been Here
Mary
made this cute cat quilt for a grandchild. The cat prints simply
called for cat paws from Anne Bright's collection marching across the
quilt.

Fall
Snuggler
Deb
pieced this lovely fall flannel quilt. The custom quilting
helped accent the blocks. The leaves in the border might make
you think of playing in a big pile before they blow away.

First
Quilt
Tessa
is enjoying her first quilt in Virginia. We worked hard sending
e-mails to decide that Windy Meandering in Chamois-colored thread
would be exactly what she wanted. She did a beautiful job and is
a credit to her teachers.

Log
Cabin
This
si a very interesting Log Cabin Quilt. Ruth enjoyed piecing it
and I enjoyed working on it. "Blustery Day' by Nichole
Webb came to life in the Sand Dune thread.

Libby
is an Artist!
This
quilt is made from all plain fabrics. She brought a book showing
the quilting and the custom continuous curves added just the finishing
touch to the great colors and piecing. She picked the
special leaf and flower pattern for the border. Her son will
enjoy this quilt.

|
Twisted
Bargello
Arlene
made this to go on a special spot on her wall. She finished it
for a show in her community. The quilting followed the piecing
lines and really makes it twist. The backing fabric is also in
the border and it twists for sure.

T
is for Tiny
Pat in
North Carolina made this baby quilt for a child whose last names
begins with "T". The parents do not want to know the
gender before the child is born so Pat honored the last name. We
used "Stars and Loops" to repeat the pattern in the piecing
and the fabric.
|

|
Red
Diamonds
The
pattern is called Red Diamonds but there are lots more vibrant colors
in this quilt. The Simply Clematis quilting pattern completed
the excitement of the leaves and flowers. The thread is Yale
Blue. the back is nearly as exciting as the front.

Holiday
Quilt
We
used holly from the Anne Bright collection to complete this nice
holiday quilt. Linda will certainly be ready for Christmas this
year.
|

|
Tire
Tracks
This
bright baby quilt Linda made has large machinery as its focus.
We decided on something simple like the tracks those big tires make in
orange thread to keep the baby's attention .

|
Connie's
Charity Quilt
Connie
works with the children at TMC and enjoys making quilts for the Justin
Project. This one is sweet and cuddly with its Reverse Heart
pattern.

|
Table
Runners
Sue
has two holiday table runners; one gold and one green. We used
Stars and Loops to accent the fabric. One is in gold thread and
the other in green. She should be ready for Christmas giving.
