Kathy's
Beauty
Kathy
has a great combination of fabrics here. The photos don't do it
justice! We used Windy Meandering to add contours to the quilt
without drawing attention away from her beautiful points and
intersectios.

Kid
Quilt
Judy
did a great job with the quilt for a young person in her life.
The bright colors and space fabric just cried out for "Stars and
Loops" done in primary variegated thread. I know he will
love his quilt.

Baseball
This
baseball quilt is perfect for a young fan. Bonnie went all the
way with sports fabric and appliquéd baseballs. We used a
pantograph with baseballs, hats, and mitts to complete the idea.

Home
Town Christmas
This
great Christmas quilt went to auction to make money for Liz's
grandson's school. I'm sure it earned a grand sum! Her
work is outstanding and the gold "Stars and Loops" just
added to the Christmas feeling. Quilted Quail Made a label and
it was attached before the quilting for safekeeping.

Welcome
to the Family
Jacque
made this lovely quilt to welcome a future daughter-in-law to the
family. Her son was proposing and Jacque wanted it to be a
special time for everyone. I know the young bride said,
"Yes!"

Christmas
Table Runner
Eleanor
fashioned this lovely table runner with beautiful fabric and a few appliquéd
stars. It will make her holiday table beautiful and exciting no
matter which side she uses.
|
|
String
Quilt
Eleanor
used muslin backing on her string pieced blocks and heavier flowered
fabric for the borders and backing. This is a nice firm
quilt. The "Rambler Rose" quilting pantograph
completes the rose theme in the fabric.

Bright
and Lovely
Linda
combined 9-patches and lovely bright fabrics for this great
quilt. Everyone who came in the shop was attracted to it.
Windy Meandering in dill-colored thread gave it contours but the
piecing bloomed on its own.

Fall
Colors
"Interlocking
Falling Leaves" is a good pantograph to bring out the fall
feeling in Linda's quilt. The leafy fabric has lovely
leaves that gave us the idea. The Mother Goose thread blends in so the
piecing stands out as well.

Baby
is on the Way
Alexandra
needed help with preparing her quilt for quilting. She is
following the tradition of making a quilt for each new baby in her
family. Quilted Quail basted it so she could work. I hope
he drags it everywhere for years and years!!

Pat's
Reversible Quilt
Pat is
such a joy to work with all the way from North Carolina. We
share many, many e-mails as we decide on how to do her quilts.
This one is patterned from "Quilting Makes the Quilt" by Lee
Cleland, but it turned out better than we planned Maybe it is a
wholecloth quilt that magically has piecing on the back??!!

Spiderman
Susan
pieced this Spiderman quilt for a special young man. What else
would you find on a Spiderman quilt than spider webs?

Does your quilt
belong here??

Did
you see the Katrina/Rita
quilts? We quilted 11 for the comfort of others.
