Susan's Gift

Susan made this cute elephant quilt for a young man in her life.  The elephants march in every direction on the fabric and in the quilting.  He'll love it!

Flannel Beauty

This clever Halloween quilt is made of cuddly soft flannel in fall colors for Halloween.  The Anne Bright "Ghost" pattern gives it the perfect "Boo!" effect.

Anne's Southwestern

We had so much fun quilting and then photographing this quilt that we know Anne will love it.  The colors are great, the inset in the back is perfect, and the cactus pattern gives it great depth and contours.  The Sand Dune thread with its slight change of color gives interest to the definite repeat in the pattern.

Fall Colors

Liz used a nice combination of fabrics for this great fall quilt.  The custom quilting helps the figures pop right out from the backgrounds and the frames set them apart.

Batik Beauty

April chose lovely bright colors for this quilt.  She liked lilac thread to tie it together and swirling leaves to give it motion.

Meow!

These cats have got character!  April used bright fabric to make this tessellation quilt.  She will add embellishments now that it is quilted.  Notice the cat tracks around the border and all of the whiskers.

Convergence

This is an art quilt!!  It started out as a Ricky Timm's Convergence.  April added borders and repetition of color elements and new shapes to create this beauty.  The stitching in the ditch and plain line quilting emphasized the simplicity.

Sunrise

Mary Lou attends one of the Thimbleberry's clubs at a local quilt shop.  They made the blocks on a monthly basis.  Hers turned out exactly like the pattern and the Thimbleberry's templates worked out beautifully.

Sunrise

Connie used nearly identical fabric  to Mary Lou's but used a dark backing fabric.  The chamois-colored thread blends in on the front and stands out on the back.

Bloomin' Nine Patch

This very large quilt (110 X 120 inches) goes on Bonnie's son's bed.  He chose the colors and she did the placement.  The colors go from a golden brown to a purpley-blue with all of the magical stops in between.  The backing includes the main colors of gold and purple.

Sue_dogs.jpg (47943 bytes)   Sue_dogs_closeup.jpg (49998 bytes)   Sue_dogs_doghouse.jpg (48301 bytes)    Sue_dogs_back.jpg (48068 bytes)

Woof!!

Sue used this cute dog and dog house fabric on this baby boy's quilt.  The mother gets it as a shower gift.  the quilting includes dog paw prints and four insets of Anne Bright dogs and dog houses.

How Does Your Garden Grow?

Irma grouped the colors in the flowers and also lined them up for this cute rose quilt.  This will certainly have a special character after it is washed so the petals will fray.  Her mother will like the backing fabric with the birds.

25th Wedding Anniversary

Dot made this quilt for her son and daughter-in-law's 25th wedding anniversary.  Dot selected Chantilly Lace insets to emphasize the pattern the blocks create.  she used the extras on the back.  Notice the special wedding fabric on the back that has "Wedding Wishes" and other loving phrases.

Christmas

Connie has worked on this large (96 x 106 inches) quilt all year and even took some of the border work on her vacation.  The Stars and Loops quilting adds to the festivity.  Some of the stars have special gold thread as an accent just inside the pattern.

Does your quilt belong here??
