Greens
Lynn
tells me that she has an orange wall that needs cooling with this
green leafy quilt. She selected interlocking Falling Leaves because of
all the green.

|
Carol's
Beauty
A
friend and i are finishing this quilt for another friend. Carol
pieced this when she was stronger and now she will see it finished
without the hassle of dragging it through her machine. Chantilly
Lace makes it elegant.

Dresden
Plate
Bonnie
made this modern Dresden Plate. The custom quilting features
different stitches in each plate and meandering to help the plates
stand out. The modern black and white background gives it a real
kick!
|

|
Kimono
Everyone
loved the kimono quilt when they came into the shop. Bonnie made
it from a kit purchased at a local quilt shop. The gold in the fabric
makes it very rich. The custom quilting to outline the fabric
and the lines of the quilt make it an outstanding project.

A
Blustery Trip
Bonnie
made this trip around the world quilt in a class. We used
Blustery Day, a pantograph by Nichole Webb , and Superior
Rainbow Trilobal thread.
|
|
Gerry's
First Big Quilt
Gerry
did a beautiful job with this quilt. She brought her teacher for
me to meet. We used Baroque Hearts so the symmetry of the
piecing and the quilting would continue throughout the whole quilt.

|
Grandson's
Quilt
Mary
made this quilt for her grandson. Windy Meandering will make it
last well with the stitching close together. The turquoise
thread picks up that color in the fabric. He'll like the stripe
down the back.
|

|
Whose
Quilt Is It?
Mary
made this quilt for herself but a family member liked it, so when Mary
got a smaller bed, she gave the quilt away. It will live in a
New England home. The colors are delightful and both front and
back have great interest.
|
|
Pastels
The
Signature Pastel variegated thread matches this fabric exactly and
adds sparkle to the circles. Mary made this half the size
of another quilt and decided the curved seams were a bit difficult in
this size.

|
Zesty
Pineapple
Da-glo
green thread added a bit more zest to Bonnie's pineapple quilt.
We used Chantilly Lace insets to make the shapes stand out and feature
the cats in the middle.

|
Leafy
Trip
Kris
is the teacher for all of the Trip Around the World quilts featured
here. We used Interlocking Falling Leaves on this cuddly flannel
quilt.
|

|
Tree
Farm
This
is Joyce's second quilt from this Thimbleberries flannel fabric.
She gives them as gifts. The custom quilting emphasizes the
contours in the center panel and is fun to do.
|

|
Princess
Joyce's
grand daughter gets her own room and her own big girl bed for this
princess quilt. Every 4-year old girl loves pink and purple and
princesses. Even the backing fabric has princesses. Simply
Clematis fills the background and the outline stitching makes the
center panel pop out.

|
Dana's
Quilt
Kris
made this Carpenter's Star for her daughter. The batiks have
butterflies, so Dana's requirements were orange thread and
butterflies. This very dense Flutterby panto is lovely.
Kris teaches the construction of this quilt at a local quilt shop.
|

|
Color
Bridge Kris
teaches this quilt, too. This is the second one she has had
quilted. We used Chrissy, a dense pantograph by Jody Bemish at
Willow Leaf Studio. The Copenhagen Blue thread blended well with
the colors in the batik fabrics.

Table
Runners
Jo Lee
got a chance to try out a new pantograph and some special fabric for
table runners. The panto is El Passo. Its simplicity makes
this southwestern table runners real beauties.
