Hummingbirds
Cara
made this quilt for her mother for Christmas. Her mother likes
blue and hummingbirds. Quilted Quail used a hummingbird
pantograph to repeat the hummingbirds in the fabric. She'll love
it!

Cara's
Sampler
This
is a bright quilt. We used Signature variegated Brights to
tie all the colors together and we gave it connection with
Blustery Day. The backing fabric says it all!

Border
Prints
This
quilt lives with Tessa in Virginia. Tessa is really good at
using border prints. These are Ginny Byers fabrics and they are
designed to go together this beautifully. We used the Simply
Clematis pantograph to give the quilt a fresh flowery look.

Hearts
Because She Loves This Quilt
Pat
debated a lot about how to have this quilt completed. She
decided on Baroque Hearts because she loves this quilt to much and
plans to use it for herself for years to come. The camel-colored
thread blends the Baroque Hearts in so that you see her precise
piecing.

Color
Bridge
Judy
did a lovely job with this 66" square quilt. The colors and
lovely piecing
make the piecing simply pop. Windy Meandering allows it to have
softness. The sand dune thread and its subtle changes adds
interest.

Lynn's
Mystery
This
is another mystery quilt whose last step was to put it together
however you8 like. Lynn worked over the placement for
hours. It turned out to be symmetrical. The Simply
Clematis certainly shows up on the green backing fabric.

Hunter's
Star
Barbara
made this quilt for her daughter. Her piecing is beautiful and
the color choices are outstanding. We used Old Rose colored
thread to repeat the pinks and Windy Meandering to stay in the
background but give it contours.

Block-of-the-Month
Barbara
decided on the Asian blocks for her quilt. The fabric with the
cranes is very special and she used an appliquéd crane as the label
for the back of the quilt. The round, open Oriental Clouds
pantograph was perfect to complete the idea of the quilt. It was
made for Barbara's daughter.

Winter
is Coming
Mary
did this cute X and O quilt in snowman fabric. The quilting
included snowflakes, pine boughs and Christmas balls. The
snowflakes originated the old fashioned way with folded paper and
scissors one hot day in August.

Art
Quilt
Libby
has such a wonderful eye for color! Then we made this quilt a
real piece of art by using page 89 in "Quilting Makes the
Quilt" by Lee Cleland as a sample for the quilting. This is
a one-of-a-kind quilt for sure.

Crazy
Quilt
Joyce
used preprinted crazy quilt fabric and a good choice of piecing to
make this planned crazy quilt. The custom quilting emphasized
the piecing. The backing fabric was the crazy quilt fabric.

Burgundy
Beauty
Bette
used these burgundies and pinks together for a lovely effect.
The medallion in the middle and the great open spaces are perfect with
Baroque Hearts in burgundy thread. She made this quilt for her
granddaughter and will deliver it in person soon.
